Urgent Pet Conditions We Treat

Has your pet ever needed veterinary care, but your regular vet was unavailable—and the situation didn’t quite feel like an emergency? That’s where EVS Pet Urgent Care comes in.

We’re here to support pets and their families when care can’t wait, but a full emergency room visit isn’t necessary. EVS bridges the gap for urgent, non-life-threatening situations by providing quick, accessible, and compassionate care.

Our goal is simple: help pets feel better faster and keep them out of the emergency room when they don’t need to be there.

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

We’re urgent care —
not an emergency room.

Our sole focus is pet urgent care — for the moments that need same-day attention but aren’t life-threatening. A couple of things fall outside what we do, and we’ll always point you the right way.

Preventive & routine care

Vaccines, wellness exams, and preventative mediation are best handled by your primary vet.

Hospitalization & surgery

We don’t admit pets for hospitalization or perform surgical procedures (i.e., spays/neuters).

FOR LIFE-THREATENING CASES, GO STRAIGHT TO AN ER
Difficulty breathing

or severe respiratory distress

Unconsciousness or collapse

unresponsive or fainting

Uncontrolled bleeding

that won't stop

Severe trauma

or broken bones

Non-stop seizures

or convulsions

For life-threatening emergencies, go to your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

Not sure if it’s an emergency? Call us — we’ll help you decide where to go.

Possible poisoning?

For any poison-related emergencies, please contact ASPCA Poison Control first — call (888) 436-4435 or visit their website.
