Why We Started EVS

We knew there had to be a better way. So we built EVS Pet Urgent Care — a veterinary practice designed specifically for urgent but non-emergency issues, with a cycle of service that puts pets and their people first.

Dr. Jordana, DVM
Dr. Jordana , DVM, founded EVS Pet Urgent Care to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency medicine. A veterinarian since 2005, her journey began in animal shelters at a young age and evolved into a career rooted in compassionate, high-quality care.
Dr. Jordana built EVS to support both pets in need of timely treatment and the veterinarians providing it—creating a sustainable, people-first urgent care model that prioritizes access, balance, and thoughtful medicine.
