We understand that exotic pets need urgent care just as much as any other animal. That's why we're proud to offer specialized urgent care services for a wide range of exotic pets, ensuring they get the attention they need when your primary veterinarian isn't available.

Types of Exotic Pets We Care For
We care for a wide range of pet exotics with specialized urgent care services
Avian Species (Birds)
We treat a variety of birds, including parrots, pigeons, chickens and more, with common conditions such as lethargy, decreased appetite, and other signs of illness.
Small Mammals
This includes rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, mice, and similar small mammals. We frequently handle cases like gastrointestinal stasis in rabbits or respiratory infections in rodents.
Reptiles & Amphibians
We see snakes, lizards, and turtles/tortoises (non-venomous only). We treat issues like trauma, skin conditions, and “Ain’t Doing Right” symptoms.

WHAT WE TREAT
Exotic Pet Urgent Care Services
While we are not a full-service emergency hospital, we provide a range of services for exotic pets to address urgent, non-life-threatening conditions
GI Stasis in Rabbits & Guinea Pigs
Symptoms include decreased appetite and reduced stool production.
Rodent Respiratory & Skin Issues
Common problems include respiratory infections and skin concerns in rats, mice, and guinea pigs.
Bird & Parrot Illness Symptoms
We treat Ain't Doing Right (ADR) symptoms in birds, including lethargy and decreased appetite.
Ferret Illness Symptoms
We treat ferrets experiencing lethargy, weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, and decreased appetite.
Reptile Trauma & Illness
From wounds to skin conditions, and Ain't Doing Right (ADR) symptoms we handle a variety of urgent health issues.

We offer in-house diagnostic services to get answers quickly for your exotic pet:

Radiographs (X-rays)
Microscopy
*Please note: We do not send samples to external reference labs. For specialized testing, we recommend you contact your general practice veterinarian.

What We Don't Treat
We do not handle farm animals (pigs, goats, production poultry), zoo animals, wildlife, or primates. For these animals, please consult a specialized veterinarian.
