Lori H.

While Lori was originally born and raised in San Diego, she later settled into Northern Nevada in 1980. With a background in law enforcement and animal control services, her transition to veterinary medicine in 2001 was a no-brainer. She originally started off in emergency and critical care ICU shifts until transitioning to a local specialty clinic for over 20+ years. Now, she’s excited to be part of the change in the Urgent Care world.

Her love and compassion for animals with a drive to save lives has contributed to Lori’s extreme success in our field. In her free time, she spends the majority of it with her dog Sebastian, who was born without eyes. She also enjoys spending time with her family, pet-sitting, and DIYs.
